Bus Service

Can I use my Smartphone coupon tickets for the Maruyama Line, Makomanai Line, and Kuwazono Line of the Airport Connecting Bus?

Smartphone coupons are only available for the Tokushin Line and Oyachi Line, and cannot be used for the Maruyama Line, Makomanai Line, and Kuwazono Line.

How do I get on the airport bus?

Airport connecting buses are non-reserved routes and payment is made at the time of drop-off.

Cash
Please pay the fare determined for each section at the time of drop-off. If you do not have the same amount as the fare
Please exchange money in advance at the exchange machine in the fare box.

For touch payment of various credit cards
Please securely touch the reader terminal located at the fare box once each when boarding and when exiting the bus.
Fares are calculated automatically according to the stop where you board and alight.

For PayPay and LinePay
While boarding, scan the QR code next to the drop-off button and enter the amount.
Please operate the system and complete the payment while clearly indicating it to the crew when you get off the bus.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Reservations are not required for the airport bus. If the bus is full, you will be transferred to the next flight.

Do I need a ticket in advance? If I have a ticket, can I always board the bus?

There is no need to purchase tickets in advance. Please pay when you get off the bus. The order of boarding is based on the order in which passengers line up at the bus stop, regardless of whether or not they have a ticket.

Can I purchase round-trip or coupon tickets on the bus?

You can purchase it. Please ask the driver when you get off the bus.

Can I sit and ride?

Since all routes travel on highways, passengers are required to wear seatbelts and must be seated.

Can I use a Hokuto Kotsu ticket to ride the jointly operated Chuo Bus?

However, the ticket for the 1,400 yen section, which can be used only by Hokuto Kotsu, is not valid. However, the 1,400 yen section ticket, which can be used only by Hokuto Kotsu, is not valid for riding the bus.

Can I drop off at a stop along the way before arriving at the airport?

Lost and found items on the bus are managed by the Omagari Bus Division.

Are there any restrictions on the luggage I can bring in the car?

The maximum size of luggage to be placed in the trunk is one suitcase per person.
If your luggage does not fit in the trunk, we may refuse to accept it at the boarding gate on the day of the tour. Please understand that we are not responsible for any damage to baggage placed in the trunk.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Wheelchairs are kept folded in the trunk for safety reasons.

Can pets ride with me?

Pets are not allowed on airport connecting buses and intercity express buses.
Assistance dogs and service dogs as defined in the Assistance Dogs for Persons with Disabilities Act are allowed to ride together.

Can I load bicycles?

Yes, you can. If you put your baggage in a wheeled bag, we will keep it in the trunk room. If the trunk room is already full, we may refuse to accept your baggage.

How many days in advance will I know if the buses are cancelled?

Please note that the service may be suspended at short notice due to road conditions or highway closures. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please check our website, X (formerly Twitter), or by phone in such cases.

Can I exchange money in the car?

Yes, it is possible. Please exchange money at the fare box in the front of the train when you get off.

Is there a discount for the disabled?

Discount fares are available for holders of a physical disability certificate or a rehabilitation certificate.
Discount fares applicable under the Child Welfare Law apply to persons in care at various facilities and their attendants who ride for care, etc., when a fare discount certificate issued by the head of the facility for care is issued.

Can I board the bus with a stroller?

Strollers can be brought into the car folded by the customer or kept in the trunk, depending on the customer's preference.

About Fares

I would like to know the fare for a ride from Sapporo Ekimae or Susukino.

Adults 1,300 yen, children 650 yen.
Fares differ for each route and stop, so please check each route page for details.

How old is the child fare?

6 years old and up - 12 years old and under (elementary school students).

About payment

Can I use IC cards such as Suica and SAPICA?

In addition to cash, various credit cards, PayPay and LINE Pay can be used on board the bus.
Transportation system IC cards such as Suica cannot be used.

Can I get a refund?

It is possible. A refund fee of 100 yen will be charged for train tickets and round-trip tickets, and 200 yen for coupon tickets.

Is there a place where I can purchase tickets with a credit card?

We can be reached at our airport counter in New Chitose Airport.
Credit cards can be used on board the airport buses.

Can I make a tentative reservation?

Tentative reservations are not accepted. Priority for bus reservations is given to first-come, first-served basis. Cancellations after reservations are confirmed will be charged a cancellation fee starting 14 days prior to the date of the reservation.

How many days in advance should I make an appointment?

Bus reservations are first-come, first-served. We recommend making reservations as early as possible.

When are cancellation fees charged?

Penalty fees (cancellation fees) for cancelled reservations are as follows
From 14 days to 8 days prior to the date of dispatch: An amount equivalent to 20% of the predetermined fares and charges
From 7 days to 24 hours prior to the dispatch date: An amount equivalent to 30% of the predetermined fare and charge
24 hours or more prior to the date and time of dispatch: An amount equivalent to 50% of the predetermined fares and charges.

Can I bring in DVDs and CDs?

DVDs, CDs, and videos (commercially available or rented from video rental stores) may not be shown on the buses as this constitutes copyright infringement.
However, we are able to show films that were taken by individual customers or approved for employee training or educational purposes, so please consult with us in advance.

About Hire Taxis and Taxis
